About our AviaSim Portland center
- Now in Pre-Sale: Our Portland location is now in pre-sale, with the first flight simulator sessions starting at the end of January 2027. Book now to be among the first to take the controls.
- Simulator Details: AviaSim Portland is part of AviaSim USA, the largest network of flight simulators open to the public in America, and our downtown Portland center is equipped with a full-scale Airbus A320 replica cockpit, providing a realistic and immersive flight experience.
- Arrival Instructions: We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for restroom breaks and check-in.
- Getting Here: Our simulator is located inside the Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center at 550 SW Oak Street, in the heart of downtown Portland and directly across the street from a MAX Light Rail station, so you can reach us from most of the city without a car.
- Parking: The hotel offers valet parking only, at a daily rate set by the hotel and subject to its own terms. AviaSim does not manage parking. If you prefer to drive, several public parking garages operate within a few blocks of the hotel.
- Extend Your Flight: The Social Spoon is located on site at the Courtyard, with a bar and an arcade alongside the restaurant, an easy way to extend your visit before or after your flight. Reservations and pricing are handled directly by the hotel. Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Pearl District and Waterfront Park are all a short walk away.
- No Experience Needed: Since 2012, AviaSim has welcomed more than 200,000 flyers into the captain’s seat, guided by a professional flight instructor. Every AviaSim location is a permanent, year-round center, and sessions are open to anyone from age 10, with no previous flying knowledge required.

At AviaSim USA, you don’t have to provide your loved one’s details when making a purchase. Just share the boarding pass you get after checkout—it includes everything they need to schedule their flight through our online booking system. They can pick the date and time that suits them best. The boarding pass is valid for three years, and the price is never displayed.
